Please read thoroughly before booking with t4nanny childcare. The following information outlines the terms and conditions for t4nanny childcare. When confirming your booking (through payment) with us you agree to the following.

BOOKINGS

Payment

All invoices are to be paid, no later than 4 weeks prior to the first day of your booking, and no booking is confirmed until a deposit has been received. All invoices regarding changes to your booking whilst in resort must be paid within 7 days from the end of your booking. If you made your booking within the 4 weeks prior to your booking start date, FULL payment is required at the time of your booking.
 

Deposits

Upon booking, 50% of the total cost of your childcare will be required. This deposit secures your booking and is non refundable. t4nanny cannot guarantee any bookings, and your Nanny will not be confirmed and allocated to your booking without the payment of this deposit.

 

Remaining Balance

All remaining balances to be paid after you have placed your deposit must be paid four weeks before the booking commences. As a reminder, if a booking is made within the 4 weeks prior to your booking start date, FULL payment will be required at the time of your booking..

 

Changes to your Childcare Requirements (In resort)

If your childcare requirements change in resort (e.g evening work/babysitting) you will be invoiced at the end of your booking with all payments to be settled within 7 days of your departure. Early invoicing or payment in advance can also be arranged upon request.

Administration fee

In line with French Law, there will be a €40 (euro) charge, if payment is not received within the timeframe agreed to at the time of booking. (Indemnité forfaitaire pour frais de recouvrement)

CANCELLATIONS

 

Client Cancels

In the unfortunate event of you needing to cancel your childcare requirements the following terms will apply:

 

More than 4 weeks before the first day of booking - 50% of total cost of booking refunded

Less than 4 weeks before the first day of booking - No monies will be returned. Should the payment not have been settled at the time of your cancellation you will be invoiced the remaining balance of the total booking fee.

In the case of a ‘force majeure’ - the above cancellation policy applies.

If you choose not to use your Nanny on one of your booked days or for the hours booked - Hours will not be made up. You will not be reimbursed for the hours not used.

t4nanny Cancels

Although it is unlikely and t4nanny endeavor to fulfill every booking, there may be circumstances where this is not possible. 

If t4nanny cancels your booking at any time prior to the first day of your booking - a full refund will be issued.

If t4nanny cancel part of your booking whilst in resort (mid-booking) - you will be refunded for the hours of childcare that are no longer possible to deliver.

 

Your Nanny

t4nanny pride themselves on our ‘continuity of care’, and understand the bonds that will inevitably grow between your child/children and our Nannies. However, in the unlikely event that a Nanny is not able to complete their booking, a replacement will be made where possible. If a replacement is not possible, you will be offered a refund for the hours of childcare that are no longer possible to deliver.
 

Staff Sickness

In the unlikely event that a Nanny becomes ill, t4nanny will do their best to replace your Nanny to protect the health of your household. However at times this may not be an option, and in this event you will be refunded for the hours of childcare that are no longer possible to deliver.

Child Sickness 

If your child becomes unwell, or catches an infectious illness, it may be that your Nanny will be asked to cease care for them immediately, in order to safeguard t4nanny staff and minimise the spread to the local community and other families they may be working with. There will be an initial 24 hours break in our care for your child/children. t4nanny reserve the right to request a Doctor's note which certifies that your child/children do/does not have a contagious illness before recommencing care. If it is deemed not suitable for a Nanny to continue the booking after this period, then our care service will end. In this event, there will be no refund of any fees.

Medication

On the FIF (Family Information Form), prior to commencement of your booking you will be asked to sign an agreement authorising our Nannies to act on your behalf in circumstances when your child may need medical advice/treatment in an emergency. Nannies will only give medication prescribed by a doctor to your child following with the prior permission of parents/legal guardians.

WORKING HOURS

 

Off-Peak Weeks

Outside of Peak weeks, t4nanny prides ourselves on offering flexible childcare. You can choose any block of 7 consecutive hours between the times of 0830-1900. Babysitting hours begin from 1900 and must be agreed prior to their commencement with t4nanny You will not be reimbursed for the hours not used.

 

Peak Weeks 

During peak weeks your childcare services are booked before you enter the resort, and due to high demand over this period changes outside of your booking will not be possible. (This is more important to be aware of with our ‘half-day’ bookings (e.g. morning bookings are 8:30am-12:30pm and afternoon bookings are 1pm-5pm. Your Nanny will work the agreed hours made at the time of booking. You will not be reimbursed for the hours not used.

CHILD SAFETY & COMFORT

 

Family Information Form ( FIF ) 

It is your responsibility to notify t4nanny of any medical issues prior to your booking on your FIF. This includes, but is not limited to: allergies, surgery, physical impairments, special needs and dietary requirements. You will also have space to note down things like sleep routine or any supporting information that could be useful to your assigned Nanny. It is your responsibility to ensure that we have all relevant information regarding the children and that such information is accurate and up to date.

 

Medicines, Epipens and Inhalers

It is your responsibility to ensure your Nanny is fully equipped with all personal medication required for your child/children and is informed on how to administer them, for the time period the Nanny is responsible for them.

 

Ratios & Minimum Ages

t4nanny reserve the right to adjust ratios at any time, in the interest of maintaining appropriate levels of safe childcare.

Minimum age we care for - 4 months old. 
 

1:1 - 4 months- 12 months

2:1 - 12 months - 3 years

4:1 - 3 years +

All children that we have in our t4nanny care must be booked through our bookings system. If you wish to add additional children to your booking, this MUST be done so via our booking process and additional charges will occur.

 

At any point during a booking, our Nannies will only take responsibility for children who are officially confirmed as part of that booking. Any last minute additions to their responsibilities, MUST be confirmed with the t4nanny head office, beforehand to avoid disappointment.

OUT AND ABOUT

 

Paid Excursions/Activities/Meals

If you wish for your child to engage in activities around a resort that require extra payment, e.g meals out, trampolines, swimming and husky rides etc., your Nanny will require a float/petty cash to cover costs for both child AND Nanny. This can be pre-arranged and paid to the Nanny in euros in resort. Prices and activity details can be provided upon request, and receipts can be provided where requested to support expenditure. 

 

Liability

t4nanny will at all times take reasonable care of your child/children and his/her/their personal effects and money. If your child/children has/have an accident or suffer(s) loss of or damage to his/her/their personal effects and money, t4nanny will not be liable to pay any damages or meet any expenses arising. Similarly if your child/children incur(s) any liability towards a third party in respect, for example, of any injury caused by your child/children to that third party or damage caused to the third party’s property, t4nanny will not be responsible.

 

t4nanny take no responsibility for grievances that may arise from the client use of Nanny of any items borrowed or hired. All borrowed or hired equipment must be inspected by the borrower/hirer that

MARKETING

 

Photos

On your FIF, you will find a space where you have a choice to opt out of videos and photos for the marketing purposes of t4nanny across multiple platforms of social media and marketing campaigns. It is assumed that if you leave this area blank that you consent to their use. 

 

All Nannies are required to delete booking specific media from their phones and personal devices once they have been shared with the directorship at the end of your booking, unless you have specifically requested them purely for family/private sharing.

SAFEGUARDING/COMPLAINTS

 

Raising Concerns

About your Nanny - In the unlikely event that you may have concerns about the practice of your Nanny, you have the right to deny your Nanny access to your child/children and we ask that you please contact the t4nanny company director directly asap:

Respect & Safeguarding of t4nanny Staff

Along with the welfare of your child/children, we also highly value the same for our staff. We expect the same level of respect and care that the Nanny will give to you and your family. If it is deemed necessary to remove a Nanny from service as a result of bullying, harassment, disrespect or risk to health and safety, then there will be no refund of any fees pending an internal investigation.

CLIENT ACCOMMODATION

 

Fit For Purpose

Clients are responsible to ensure that their accommodation is fit for purpose and of a suitable level of hygiene for the Nanny to focus on childcare. Poor levels of hygiene, or safety may result in an early termination of our services. If no attempt to rectify the situation is made ina a suitable timeframe, following the raising of any concern, you accept that t4nanny reserve the right to end its contract of services with you without refund.

 

Hygiene

Clients must ensure that there are suitable hygienic changing provisions for changing nappies and an adequate supply of towels, spare clothes and other necessities, both for your child and our Nannies.

 

Smoking

For the respect of our Nannies health, families accept that they will not smoke or vape inside the accommodation at any time the Nanny is present throughout the duration of your booking.

 

Abuse of Alcohol

If the use of alcohol by families results in saftey concerns for a Nanny’s welfare whilst they are providing care for your child, and present in your accommodation, t4nanny reserve the right to remove that Nanny from service without any compensation for hours not yet used.
