Taking a child on a winter holiday can seem daunting, but with the right planning and a little support, it can become one of the most rewarding holidays you’ll ever have. Our team is here to help make things easier, from understanding your childcare needs to helping your little ones make the most of their time in the mountains.

Childcare Ratios and Ages

We care for all children from 4 months old - 18 years old.

1 nanny : 1 infant (under one)
1 nanny : 2 toddlers (13 months - 3 years)

1 nanny : 4 children (3 years +)

*We charge per nanny - not per child!

*t4nanny cares for all children, including families with Special Needs.

All children that we have in our t4nanny care must be booked through our bookings system. If you wish to add additional children to your booking, this MUST be done so via our booking process and additional charges will occur.

Before your booking, we take the time to understand your family and what you’re looking for from your childcare, so that wherever possible, we can match you with the nanny or manny who is the best fit.

We encourage our new and returning families to tell us what’s important to you, helping us create the best possible match and ensure your family enjoys a truly unforgettable holiday in the French Alps.

Meeting Your Nanny

Before you arrive in resort, your nanny team will set up a WhatsApp group to message you to introduce themselves and check in on your journey.

On the first day of your booking, your wonderful nanny will meet you and your family, ready to learn all about your little ones — their routines, interests, favourite things and little comforts. They’ll also bring age-appropriate crafts and activities to help everyone settle in, have fun together and start building a safe, happy and trusting relationship.

Planning The Day

Our nannies plan each day around your child’s needs, interests and personality, creating fun, memorable holiday experiences through play, adventure and exploration.

We also work around your family’s plans, whether that means lunch together, extra pool time, joining a family activity or adapting the day as plans change.

Your Childs Day

Every day, one of our nannies will come to your accommodation ready to take the children on a new adventure or activity!

From farm visits and sledging to exploring the mountains, our nannies make the most of everything the resort has to offer. And when the weather isn’t quite bluebird, we bring the fun indoors with arts and crafts, sensory play, the library or soft play.

Whatever the weather, we’ll find an adventure!

The End Of The Day

We know how much it means to our families to feel part of all the little joys and adventures their children experience throughout the day. That’s why our nannies keep you connected with everything your child gets up to, sharing photos, artwork and crafts, and chatting with you about all the wonderful adventures and activities they enjoyed.

From the little moments to the big adventures, we love helping you feel part of their holiday too.

For our little ones, we love sensory play, from making sensory boards and rattles to hand painting, salt dough hand and footprints, exploring different foods and textures, and singing plenty of favourite songs!

We work around your child’s individual routine, recognising how important nap times are. With your tips and our own soothing techniques, we aim to keep little ones comfortable, settled and as close to their usual sleep routine as possible.

Indoor fun under 3's

We love arts and crafts and enjoy creating something new every day, from masks and hats to lanterns and snowflakes. If there’s cutting and sticking involved, we’re there!

We’re all little chefs at heart too, so we love getting our little ones involved in the kitchen and baking their favourite treats. And of course, there’s always time for face painting, especially when our little ones get the chance to paint ours!

Outdoor fun under 3's

Even our littlest ones need fresh air! Our nannies know the best spots for gentle walks and pram adventures, whether it’s to soothe a little one back to sleep or simply take in the sights, sounds and smells of the mountains.

Once we’re wrapped up and ready for outdoor fun, it’s often the nannies who have to convince the children it’s time to go home! We love sledging, cable car rides, building snowmen, exploring the mountains and collecting treasures like pinecones to craft with later.

Special adventures might include visiting the farm, swimming at the leisure centre or enjoying soft play, where new friendships are often made. And after all that hard work, there’s only one thing left to do: find the most delicious hot chocolate in the resort!

Outdoor fun over 3's

t4 nannies are masters at building amazing igloos and snowmen, and creating snowball fights that even parents can’t resist joining in with. When we see a child enjoying the outdoors, we know how to build on that excitement. A simple afternoon of sledging can quickly become a full sledging course complete with races! For our older children, we love discovering new challenges too, from ice skating to trampolining.

Sleep Routine

We understand the importance of nap time! We plan every day around each little ones sleeping routine and combine both our soothing techniques along with mum and dad’s hot tips on what works best to ensure your little one gets a good quality rest in between all the holiday fun.

Meal Times

Your nanny can prepare lunch using supplies from your accommodation, or, with pocket money provided, pick up supplies from the supermarket or take the children out for lunch. If you’d like your children to join you for lunch, simply let your nanny know where and when to meet you.

*** If your nanny is expected to eat with the children at a restaurant or café, their meal must be paid for by the family or sufficient money provided to cover their meal. ***

Ski School

If your child is attending Ski School, your nanny will drop them off & pick them up from ski school that day.
We know how important it is for families to feel apart of their young ones achievements, so our nannies make sure to ask the ski school instructors how things are going, and relay all the feedback back to you at the end of the day.
